Kenners en coureurs komen woorden tekort over prestatie Charles Leclerc

Charles Leclerc wist op het circuit van Paul Riciard opnieuw gigantische indruk te maken. Het grote talent kwalificeerde zich met zijn Alfa-Romeo Sauber bolide op een indrukwekkende achtste positie.

Zowel de Formule 1 kenners als de huidige coureurs kwamen woorden tekort over de prestatie van Leclerc. Met name journalist Andrew Benson was onder de indruk van coureur uit Monaco. “Charles Leclerc doet op dit moment hetzelfde wat Prost, Senna en Alonso deden in hun debuutseizoen en dat is imponeren in een mindere bolidë", riep de Brit tegenover BBC.
